Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County offers help with healthcare at Martin County libraries

The Martin County Library System is partnering with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County to provide healthcare information and enrollment assistance for citizens interested in signing up. A Certified Navigator will be at each session to answer questions about the Federal Healthcare Marketplace and the Affordable Care Act and to provide information on how to receive enrollment help. Each four-hour session is free and open to the public.

Presentation schedule:
• Nov. 13, 1:00-5:00 pm – Elisabeth Lahti Library, 15200 SW Adams Ave., Indiantown
• Nov. 18, 10:00 am-2:00 pm – Robert Morgade Library, 5851 SE Community Dr., Stuart
• Nov. 19, 3:00-7:00 pm – Hobe Sound Public Library, 10595 SE Federal Hwy., Hobe Sound
• Nov. 25, 1:00-5:00 pm – Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Rd., Stuart
• Dec. 3, 1:00-5:00 pm – Hoke Library, 1150 NW Jack Williams Way, Jensen Beach
• Dec. 11, 1:00-5:00 pm – Peter & Julie Cummings Library, 2551 SW Matheson Ave., Palm City

Martin County Library System staff are not trained or licensed to provide advice or assistance in selecting a specific health plan, but can provide information and direction to public resources about the Affordable Care Act that will help consumers make informed healthcare decisions.
