For immediate release: April 7, 2014
Contact: Samuel McKee, Martin County Library System, 772-463-3205

The Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, will be hosting Rev. Laurie Ann Leach Monday, April 14 from 6:30 to 7:45pm, as she presents a lecture, titled Nutritional Guidance Using Asian Medicine, which will help the curious learn more about the Art of Asian Medicine.

The art of Asian medicine has many different forms, theories, beliefs and uses. Please come and listen to this fascinating lecture on the bioelectrical impulses or Qi (pronounced “Chi”), of our human form that makes us who we are in our individual uniqueness. Hear how you can improve your own health and life, simply and effectively. There are no religious connotations in this work.

Rev. Laurie Ann Leach, LST, LMT, CLT is a New England native and has been trained by some of the pioneers in the field of Integrative Medicine; the late Pauline Sasaki – Zen & Quantum Shiatsu; Dr. Deepak Chopra – Quantum Physics in Medicine and Guided Meditation; Dr. Wayne Dyer – Power of Positive Thinking; the late Prof. Wang Jin Yua – Chinese Pressing Point Massage and QiGong Chinese Medicine (see Bill Moyers Healing and The Mind specials on YouTube); plus many more. She currently does work with the Council on Aging at the Log House Senior programs, the Kane Center Adult Day Care program, Treasure Coast Parkinson’s Association and Treasure Coast Hospice.
