Thursday, March 27 at 2 pm, in the John F. Armstrong Wing at the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, “academic entertainer” Barbara Rinella presents a wonderful program on the book Elizabeth the Queen, The Life of a Modern Monarch by Sally Bedell Smith.

A Celebration of Queen Elizabeth II tells the story of the smart, disciplined, diligent Princess Lilibet, whose life changes dramatically at the age of ten, when her uncle Edward VIII abdicates the throne to marry Wallis Simpson and her father becomes King George VI. Please come to curtsy before a woman of strength, courage, confidence, and spectacular endurance as she shares her extraordinary life and leadership. God Save the Queen!

Barbara Rinella, a former teacher, defines herself as an “academic entertainer.” For many years she has been celebrating literature and learning through her delightful programs on current books.
