Irish heritage presentations to be held at Blake and Hobe Sound Public Library beginning March 6

Thursday, March 6 beginning at 6 pm, at the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, Irish-born Patrick Ferguson will be presenting the first of two presentations on Irish heritage, in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, with ‘An Irish Feast.’ This ‘Irish feast’ will include songs that stir the heart, a slice of Irish history, an introduction to the Gaelic language, a demonstration of hurling (the national sport of Ireland), and an understanding of the life of Saint Patrick.

The second of two presentations will be held at the Hobe Sound Public Library, 10595 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, on Tuesday, March 11 at 6 pm.
