Special History & Culture Spot on the story of India beginning January 31 at Blake Library

As part of Jane Miller’s ongoing History & Culture Spot Film Series, three screenings will be held on The Story of India (parts 1, 2 and 3, respectively) beginning Friday, January 31 and concluding Friday, March 28 at 2:00 pm in the John F. Armstrong Wing of the Blake Library, 2351 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart.

Acclaimed documentarian Michael Wood takes viewers on a journey through the dramatic history of the world’s oldest and richest civilization. From the time before Sanskrit to the present day, Michael Wood explains historical events by travelling to the places where they took place, examining archaeological and historical evidence at first hand and interviewing historians and archaeologists, as well as talking with local people. With this landmark series, you will embark on a dazzling and exciting journey through today’s India, “seeking in the present for clues to her past, and in the past for clues to her future.”
