The Martin County Library System, in collaboration with the Tampa Bay Library Consortium, will be hosting a Technology Roadshow at the Peter and Julie Cummings Library, 2551 SW Matheson Ave, Palm City, Saturday January 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. This event will serve to aid those who desire guidance in navigating the uncharted territory of a new gadget.

During this two-hour session, attendees will have access to technological experts, Jessie Riggins and Al Carson from the Tampa Bay Library Consortium, who will demonstrate tablets, eBook readers, and other gadgets, as well as answering any questions. There will be an array of over a dozen of this season’s hottest gizmos¬-Nexus 7, iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tablet, Kindle e-Ink, Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, Nook Classic, Kobo, iPhone, Android phones, Windows Surface, Netbook, Chromebook-and possible more!

Attendees are also encouraged to bring in their own devices and gadgets to show and tell what they do with them, and, of course, to take advantage of this opportunity to get the most out of their devices!
