Sounds of Summer Music Series continues with Celtic music by The Rowdy Micks

TheRowdyMicks_recentThe second performance in the three-part Sounds of Summer Music Series takes place Thursday, July 25 in the John F. Armstrong Wing of the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Road, Stuart. The Rowdy Micks take the stage at 6:00 pm for a one-hour concert. The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

The Rowdy Micks, together since 2002, perform traditional Celtic music along Florida’s Treasure Coast. The five-member group consists of Mick Geever, piper and lead singer; John Millroy, percussionist and vocalist; Kathy Porter-Zogran, fiddler and program director; Peggie O’Neill, fiddler; and Rowdy Carlton, guitarist and backup vocalist.

The Sounds of Summer Music Series resumes on August 22 with the third and final event featuring The Porchdogs, performing accordion-driven Cajun/Zydeco music.
