Civil War 150th Anniversary: Gettysburg and Vicksburg are the next two illustrated lectures in Josh Liller’s history series. Presented on Tuesdays, July 2 and July 30 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm, the events will be held at the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Road, Stuart.

On July 2, local historian Liller will discuss the Gettysburg campaign, commanders and events surrounding the most famous battle of the American Civil War. On July 30, his lecture centers around the pivotal Vicksburg battle. Question and answer sessions follow each presentation.

Josh Liller, a former Martin County reference library assistant and lifelong history aficionado, is currently working toward an undergraduate degree in history.
