The Blake Library, located at 2351 SE Monterey Road in Stuart, is host to the Martin County Library System’s first ever Sounds of Summer Music Series. The series begins with The Ashley Gang taking the stage at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 27. All events in the series are free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

The Ashley Gang, a four-piece acoustic band, performs original material with guitars, mandolin, flute and djembe. The Gang has played throughout Florida at most of the major folk festivals for the past 13 years.

The Sounds of Summer Music Series continues on July 25 with traditional Celtic music by The Rowdy Micks. The third and final event on August 22 features The Porchdogs, performing accordion-driven Cajun/Zydeco music.
