Workshop teaches children how to take care of the earth and each other

Join Marybeth Peña, RN, BSN, CDE, as she presents three sessions of Plant a Seed in the Garden of Kindness. Children in grades K-5 will learn about taking care of the earth and each other. Participants will also enjoy a puppet show, followed by painting pots and planting seeds.

Peña presents two of the three sessions on Thursday, June 6. The first event takes place at the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Road in Stuart, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Registration is required by calling 772-221-1407.

The second event takes place from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Hoke Library, located at 1150 NW Jack Williams Way in Jensen Beach. Registration is required by calling 772-463-2870.

The third and final session will be held at the Elisabeth Lahti Library, 15200 SW Adams Avenue, Indiantown, on Tuesday, June 11 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Registration is required by calling 772-597-4200.
