Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in America. Join the Martin County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, April 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the John F. Armstrong Wing of the Blake Library as they educate residents on the extent of this problem. The event is free and open to the public.

A part of Money Smart Week, this free event will focus on how identity theft is committed, steps or measures that can minimize the chance of becoming a victim and what to do if your identity has been stolen. The Blake Library is located at 2351 S.E. Monterey Road in Stuart.
