Librarians with the Martin County Library System will be participating in the third annual FLA Virtual Job Shadowing by tweeting about their daily activities on Thursday, April 18. Staff at all Martin County libraries will join library staff from around the state to raise awareness about the importance of librarians and to advocate for the librarianship profession!

Coordinated by the Library Personnel Recruitment Committee of the Florida Library Association, Virtual Job Shadowing is a way to share the interesting aspects of library work with those considering this field as a career. Follow the tweeting on http://twitter.com/LibJobShadowFL.

As a non-profit organization of libraries, library staff and library supporters, FLA advocates for all types of library service in Florida; works with other professional organizations relevant to library and information service; provides opportunities for library employees to advance their knowledge and skills; and facilitates productive links with the library community.
