Explore the fascinating world of science at Nitromania presented by the South Florida Science Museum on Saturday, April 13. Enjoy this liquid nitrogen program in the Donahue Room of the Peter & Julie Cummings Library, 2551 S.W. Matheson Avenue, Palm City, at 11:00 a.m., or visit the Elisabeth Lahti Library, 15200 S.W. Adams Ave., Indiantown, at 2:00 p.m. Ages 7 and up are welcome to these free events.

Nitromania is a demonstration using liquid nitrogen to show different concepts of the states of matter, different cycles of carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water, and cryogenic freezing. Students will see changes in matter occur before their very eyes and understand the atomic and molecular behavior behind the phenomena.
