‘Living History’ series brings art display to Blake Library March 30

Celebrating the Harvest of the Mind, Body and Spirit

Lisa Jill Allison presents “Art from the Heart” on Saturday, March 30 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Blake Library. Allison’s demonstration will reveal the logistics of being an artist from A to Z and guide participants through the steps of putting inspirational images on a canvas. A gallery of her art will be on display before the presentation. Free and open to the public, the event was developed as part of Professor Robert Farley’s series Living History: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Stories.

A part of the Martin County Library System’s Chautauqua South arts and education series, the event is sponsored by the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc. The Blake Library is located at 2351 S.E. Monterey Rd., Stuart.
