Author/photographer explores evolution of Cape Cod house March 20

Author and photographer Arthur P. Richmond presents his book “The Evolution of the Cape Cod House: An Architectural History” on Wednesday, March 20 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Donahue Room of the Peter & Julie Cummings Library, 2551 S.W. Matheson Avenue, Palm City. Richmond shares details of a three-year adventure that took him to England to trace the origins of the Cape Cod style house. Books will be available for purchase and signing. The event is free and open to the public.

A retired science educator and New England native, Richmond has written a dozen books specializing in architecture and scenery in the New England area. His photography can be found in textbooks, magazines and other publications including postcards, calendars and travel books, as well as in Cape galleries.
