South Florida Science Museum presents Shark Tooth Lab Feb. 16 at Robert Morgade Library

Explore the fascinating world of sharks and their relatives at the Shark Tooth Lab presented by the South Florida Science Museum on Saturday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Robert Morgade Library. Working together, students will take part in a variety of educational activities. Participants will sort and classify genuine fossil shark teeth, learn about the animal’s amazing senses and create their own shark-tooth necklace. Ages 8 and up are welcome and registration is required.

The Robert Morgade Library is located at 5851 S.E. Community Drive on the Chastain Campus of Indian River State College, Stuart.  For further details and to register please call (772) 463-3245.    

This event, one of several Belle Glade Culture events for kids and teens, is brought to you by the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc., to complement the We Were Here Viva Florida 500 traveling exhibition presented by the Lawrence E. Will Museum: A Museum of the Belle Glades, on display at the Robert Morgade Library March 4-23.
