Atlantic Classical Orchestra to present first of three chamber music concerts Jan. 26

Celebrating the Harvest of the Mind, Body and Spirit

WHO:  The Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc.

WHAT:  Chautauqua South: Atlantic Classical Orchestra – Chamber Music Series

Atlantic Classical Orchestra, under the direction of Stewart Robertson, will present a series of three chamber music programs Jan. 26, Feb. 23 and March 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the John F. Armstrong Wing of the Blake Library in Stuart.   Each concert runs approximately one and a quarter hours, with no intermission, and is free and open to the public.  No tickets or reservations are required. A schedule follows.

Chamber I – Saturday, January 26, 11:00 a.m. – Piano Trio Program: John Ireland, Phantasie Trio; Sergei Rachmaninoff, Piano Trio No. 1 in G Minor; Maurice Ravel, Piano Trio in A Minor

Chamber II – Saturday, February 23, 11:00 a.m. – Adolf von Henselt, Piano Concerto in F Minor, Op. 16 Chamber version (U.S. premiere)

Chamber III – Saturday, March 16, 11:00 a.m. – Wind Quintet Program: Jacques Ibert, 3 Pieces Breves; George Onslow, Wind Quintet Op. 81 in F Major; Marius Milhaud, La Cheminée du Roi René; Claude Arrieu, Wind Quintet in C Major
WHEN:  Saturday, January 26, February 23 and March 16, 11:00 a.m.
WHERE:  Blake Library, John F. Armstrong Wing, 2351 SE Monterey Rd., Stuart
