Information technology coordinator to discuss 21st century skills

in Cummings Library idea lab Oct. 23


Marilyn Gavitt, M.Ed., will discuss the 21st Century Skills Tuesday, October 23 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. in the idea lab, located in the Peter and Julie Cummings Library, 2551 S.W. Matheson Avenue, Palm City.  The talk is free and open to the public.  No registration is necessary.

What are the 21st century skills?  Why do we need them and why is it important to Martin County?  Coordinator of Instructional Technology with the Martin County School District, Marilyn Gavitt will identify 21st century skills and explain their importance in today’s schools and workplace.
