Cyber safety expert to speak on Internet safety for youth Oct. 18 at Blake Library

Keith Dunn, KDCOP, cyber safety expert and speaker, will present information and resources on Internet safety for youth of all ages to parents Thursday, October 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the John F. Armstrong Wing of the Blake Library, 2351 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart.  The event is free.  Pre-registration is required.  Please call 772-221-1407 to register.

During his work as an undercover investigator for Internet Crimes, Keith Dunn was at the forefront of the safety issues for your child’s cyber world of the Internet, gaming and communications.  His work with schools, law enforcement and the legal profession gives him a unique perspective on the many issues facing parents today.  Due to the sensitivity of the topic, this workshop is for adults only.

The second of eight presentations in the Our Kids! Parent Seminar Series scheduled at Martin County libraries through April 2013, this talk is presented in collaboration with the Martin County Library System, CHARACTER COUNTS! a program of United Way of  Tykes & Teens, Children’s Services Council, and the Martin County
School District.
