Paul Yorke to discuss cloud computing in Sept. 26 Cummings Library idea lab class

Are you wondering about cloud computing? Does it leave you up in the air? Paul Yorke will discuss what cloud computing is, why it is being used, and how it can help you on Wednesday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the idea lab of the Cummings Library, 2551 S.W. Matheson Avenue, Palm City. The class is free. No registration is necessary.

Paul Yorke is the owner of Tech Computer Services. He is currently a software applications developer, specializing in database driven websites and internet based programs. He has worked as a web developer for South Florida Water Management District and is proficient in the following technologies: Oracle Apex, Portal, PL/SQL and Database, PHP/HTML/CSS Websites, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Applications and Google Sites, and Mac computers and network solutions.

The recently-launched idea lab is a digital resource center with tools and resources available for the community to create, learn and explore. Classes on a variety of topics are presented regularly.
