Vega Brothers to perform Latin American music at Robert Morgade Library Sept. 22

Robert Morgade Library celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

with the Vega Brothers Sept. 22 

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Vega Brothers will present a selection of Latin American music on Saturday, September 22 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Anderson Community Room of the Robert Morgade Library, located on the IRSC Chastain Campus at 5851 SE Community Drive, Stuart. Funded by the Friends of the Robert Morgade Library, the event is free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required.

Internationally known Paraguayan harpist Marcos Vega, joined by Silvano Vega on guitar and vocals, will play Paraguayan, Argentinean, Brazilian, Colombian, Venezuelan and Cuban music, among other styles, in a one-hour concert with no intermission. Tunes will include “Pajaro Campana,” “Malagueña,” and “Argentinean Tango.” CDs will be available for sale.
