Mystery Night, the final program in a series of six special events in Martin County Library System’s adult summer reading program Between the Covers, will take place Tuesday, August 7 from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Hobe Sound Public Library, located at 10595 S.E. Federal Highway, Hobe Sound 33455. Sponsored by the Friends of the Hobe Sound Library, the event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Mystery Writer Challenge 2012, which began July 10 at Hobe Sound Public Library, concludes August 7 with Mystery Night and a game of “Who Am I?” in which each participant wears an author’s name on his or her back and guesses the author’s identity by asking other players. The game features dozens of famous authors and scores of questions.

There also will be a key to the ongoing Challenge to see how well players have done. Pick up a quiz at the Hobe Sound Public Library while there’s still time—it will test your knowledge of United States mystery writers’ story locations and facts about their main characters.

Attending Mystery Night will qualify you to be registered for a drawing for a gift basket that evening as well as for a grand prize drawing held August 13.
