Ice Age Rampage planned at Palm City and Indiantown libraries July 21

Children can learn about prehistoric animals July 21 at Palm City and Indiantown libraries 

Chris Koch of Jurassic Parts will present Ice Age Rampage! at two Martin County community libraries Saturday, July 21:  11:00 a.m. at the Cummings Library, 2551 S.W. Matheson Avenue, Palm City, and 3:00 p.m. at the Elisabeth Lahti Library, 15200 S.W. Adams Avenue, Indiantown.

This program introduces students of all ages to the animals that roamed Florida long ago. Children will be able to see and touch a wide selection of genuine and replica fossils of animals such as Saber Cats, Mastodons and Mammoths, Giant Ground Sloths, and a multitude of other animals.

Part of Martin County Library System’s Children’s Summer Reading Program, the free event is funded by the two library Friends groups.  No registration is needed.
