Hoke Library to close May 22-23 for renovations

Martin County Library System announces that the Hoke Library, located at 1150 NW Jack Williams Way in Jensen Beach, will close Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 for renovations.  Book drops will remain open during this closure, no materials will be due, and no fines will accrue.  Normal operating hours will resume Thursday, May 24, with few disruptions anticipated.

The remodel project is funded by a generous gift from the Friends of the Hoke Library in Jensen Beach, Inc.  Renovations to the library’s reception desk area will streamline the checking in of returned items and provide a more user-friendly work space for staff and volunteers to interact with the public.   Patrons can look forward to more personalized customer service with improved access to library staff that answer questions, assist with technology, and recommend and locate books to read.
