Dr. Robert P. Watson returns to Blake Library March 8

                       

 WHO:             The Friends of the Blake Library in Stuart, Inc., sponsor, in support of Martin County libraries

 WHAT:           Campaign 2012: The Candidates, Primaries, Issues, and Predictions

Presented by Robert P. Watson, Ph.D.

 

Professor, author, and political commentator Dr. Robert P. Watson will speak on the upcoming presidential election

6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at the Blake Library in Stuart. A question and answer session follows the one-hour talk.

The event is free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required.

 

Robert P. Watson, Ph.D., is Professor and Coordinator of American Studies at Lynn University in Boca Raton and

a frequent media commentator on outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, USA Today, The New York Times,

Time, U.S. News & World Report, and others. His commentary has appeared on C-SPAN, Book TV, The Voice of

America, and Hardball with Chris Matthews, to name a few, as well as on the BBC and public television/radio in ten

countries.

 

The co-convener of seven national conferences on the presidency, Watson founded the non-profit think tank Think

Act Lead and was the founding editor of the scholarly journal White House Studies. For his work he has received a

number of awards, including the International Abraham Lincoln Award for his contributions to the study of the

presidency.
