Learn about Audubon’s backyard bird count at Hobe Sound Public Library Feb. 18

Audubon of Martin County will present “The Great Backyard Bird Count in Hobe Sound” on Saturday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at the Hobe Sound Public Library, 10595 S.E. Federal Highway, Hobe Sound. The presentation is free and open to the public, including residents outside of Hobe Sound.

The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual four-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent. Anyone can participate, from beginning bird watchers to experts. It takes as little as 15 minutes on one day, or you can count for as long as you like each day of the event. It’s free, fun, and easy—and it helps the birds.

Please take this time to join us and learn how YOU and YOUR FAMILY can participate. We will help you with identifying our unique Florida birds, many which are found right in Hobe Sound!
