Award-Winning Folk Duo to Perform at Robert Morgade Library 6 p.m. Jan. 11

WHAT:            Chautauqua South:  The Honey Dewdrops


The Honey Dewdrops is a folk and oldtime duo with Appalachian harmonies, consisting of Laura Wortman (guitar, vocals) and Kagey Parrish (guitar, mandolin, vocals).  Winners of the “Talented People in their Twenties” contest on Garrison Keillor’s  “A Prairie Home Companion,” the pair has been receiving rave reviews, including this from Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine:

 “Their talent is such that it’s quite possible that a new band recording in the year 2020 might cite the Honey Dewdrops as a prime influence.”

You’ll enjoy this family-friendly program of original, award-winning material and traditional/bluegrass tunes.
