Panel of Physicians to Discuss Advances in Cancer Treatment Oct. 13 at Blake Library

Doctors unite to educate public about new cancer treatments

 Oct. 13 at Blake Library



WHO:             The Friends of the Blake Library in Stuart, Inc., sponsor, in support of

Martin County libraries

WHAT:          New Advances in the Fight Against Cancer

Presented by the Martin County Library System to highlight the Anne M. and Joel L. Pearl Cancer Resource Center located at the Blake Library, this panel discussion on surgical and non-surgical advances in cancer treatment features the following local physicians and surgeons:

  • Michael S. Wertheim, M.D.
  • William Crook, M.D.
  •  Denise M. Ortega Sanderson, M.D.

Representatives from the American Cancer Society will be present. A question and answer session follows the discussion.

WHEN:           Thursday, October 13, 6:30– 8:00 p.m.
