Blake Library Offers Local Help for Business Owners at Free Workshop Oct. 6

WHO:             The Friends of the Blake Library in Stuart, Inc., sponsor, in support of

Martin County libraries

WHAT:           Local Help for Business Owners

Why is the attrition rate of new businesses, after 8-10 years, 90%?

Learn about free business resources that exist that can help business owners, and more, at this round-table discussion featuring the following speakers:

  • Vince LoPresti, area manager of the regional Small Business Administration office
  •  Jack Burns,  Assistant Director of the Small Business Development Center
  •  Artis Slappey, Business Services Consultant for Workforce Solutions
  •  Dana Albury, vice president of Florida First Capital Finance Corporation

 John Patterson, SBA Lender for Oculina Bank, will offer workshop attendees information about loan qualifications and applications.
