Destination Golf:   A Pictorial Look at Some of the Nation’s

Most Famous Golf Courses

 

Presented by Jackie Williams

Jackie Williams will present Destination Golf 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at the Blake Library in Stuart as part of Martin County Library System’s July series, Beating the Heat Is a Breeze @ the Blake Library.  During the approximately one-hour program Jackie will show photos of several golf courses and talk about why each is famous.

Jackie Williams is a former LPGA Class A golf professional and served as Head Golf Professional at Martin County Golf and Country Club from 1980 through 1992.  She is the author of one book, Playing from the Rough: The Women of the LPGA Hall of Fame

 Jackie retired from MCTV Channel 20 in 2008 and continues, as a volunteer, to produce and host the station’s “Pets on Parade” show, done in collaboration with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.
