Tickets Available Beginning April 5 for Final Program in Elisabeth Lahti Concert Series

WHAT:           Chautauqua South: Elisabeth Lahti Concert Series

 Friends of Jazz

 The four-man music group Friends of Jazz will perform 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Cummings Library in Palm City.  This is the final program in the 2011 Elisabeth Lahti Concert Series, which is part of Martin County Library System’s Chautauqua South arts and education series.  Free tickets are required and available at the Cummings Library beginning April 5. 

Spend an afternoon listening to the coolest jazz around!  The Central Florida-based jazz ensemble Friends of Jazz features vocalist Bob Fowler, who has performed in the Warren Parrish Trio and brings a wealth of experience to the group, and Greg Taillon on bass and Dave Crockett on piano—both veterans of the popular Cajun/zydeco group Porchdogs.  Ronnie Hart on drums rounds out these jazz masters.  Don’t miss them!
