BookMania! Is Back–This Time at Jensen Beach High School!

The popular author/book festival will be held at Jensen Beach High School.

STUART, FL, Dec. 7, 2010 – In 2011, Martin County Library System’s popular BookMania! author/book festival will move from its customary venue at the Blake Library in Stuart to the 600-seat Performing Arts Center of Jensen Beach High School, 2875 NW Goldenrod Road, Jensen Beach, where more than twenty nationally recognized authors are scheduled to participate in panel discussions and readings beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22. Following each presentation book signings and sales will be held in the Nutrition Center, across from the adjoining courtyard where concessionaires will sell food and drinks. Events are free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required.

Barnes & Noble, provider of books for the festival, will donate a percentage of proceeds from books purchased at both the festival and during the Jan. 21 fundraising cocktail party “Novel Destinations,” held at the Blake Library and attended by BookMania! authors, to the Library Foundation of Martin County.
