Porch Dogs Return with Cajun/Zydeco Music April 15

Porch Dogs: An Evening of Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco Music

Put on your dancing shoes!

The Porch Dogs will present rollicking Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco music 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15 at the Blake Library in Stuart as one of the final programs in the 2010 Chautauqua South arts and literary series. 

Porch Dogs was formed in 1992 by Orlando residents Andy Burr and Greg Taillon. Performing April 15 will be Greg Taillon on accordion, Andy Burr on guitar, Renee Riddle on fiddle, George McDonald on drums, Larry Dolamore on bass and Harvey Rosenfeld on percussion.   

A favorite at festivals across the United States, Porch Dogs has performed regularly at the Ft. Lauderdale Cajun Zydeco Crawfish Festival—the largest event of its type in the country.  The band is also a featured act at the world famous Iron Horse Saloon during Daytona’s Bike Week and Biketoberfest.             

WHEN:                  Thursday, April 15, 7:00 p.m.

WHERE:               Blake Library, John F. Armstrong Wing, 2351 SE Monterey Rd., Stuart

HOW:                    Free and open to the public.  No tickets or reservations required.
