BLAKE LIBRARY PROGRAM HONORS ARTIST HOWARD SCHAFER

WHO:                    The Friends of the Blake Library in Stuart, Inc., in support of Martin County libraries

WHAT:                  Chautauqua South:  Setting Sail for Art     

Bion B. Bierer, author of Howard Schafer: Journey of a Marine Artist

Author Bion B. Bierer launches a PowerPoint on Howard Schafer: Journey of a Marine Artist, celebrating the legacy of this well-known local artist. This program will appeal to lovers of marine art, boating, nautical detail and coastal nature.

Books will be available for sale and signing.  Enjoy a wine and cheese reception while you view a “gallery” of Schafer art.

WHEN:                  Friday, March 26, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE:               Blake Library, John F. Armstrong Wing, 2351 SE Monterey Rd., Stuart

HOW:                    Free and open to the public.  No tickets or reservations not required.
