Tom Sawyer Puppet Show at Four Martin Libraries

WHO:                    The Friends of the Palm City Library, Inc.; The Friends of the Hoke Library in Jensen Beach, Inc.; The Friends of the Hobe Sound Library, Inc.; and The Friends of the Elisabeth Lahti Library of Indiantown, Florida, Inc.

WHAT:                 The Big Read

Duck in the Truck Puppets: The Tom Sawyer Puppet Show

Duck in the Truck Puppets will present “The Tom Sawyer Puppet Show” as part of Martin County Library System’s Big Read Project at four Martin County libraries February 27 through March 24.  The roughly one-hour show is free and open to the public and recommended for ages 3-8. Free copies of classic and children’s versions of the Big Read book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain will be available while supplies last.

Professor O (David Opasik) introduces puppet characters Becky, Huck, Tom and Aunt Polly as well as famous author Mark Twain. The story unfolds as Speaker the Wonder Dog (Susan Opasik) assists with the shadow show. Watch out for Injun Joe!
