Black History Month Celebrated with Talk and Song

DATE:  FEBRUARY 11, 2010


WHO:              Sponsored by the Friends of the Robert Morgade Library, in support of the Martin County Library System

WHAT:           A History of Blacks in Martin County

                        Anthony Anderson with the Anderson Family Singers


In celebration of Black History Month Anthony Anderson will give a history of notable Martin County Blacks who have made significant contributions to the county. The Anderson Family Singers will perform gospel music sets during his presentation after which refreshments will be available. 

Mr. Anderson is a career specialist working with the Martin County School District in Adult Education in Indiantown.

WHEN:           Friday, February 26, 7:00 p.m.


WHERE:          Robert Morgade Library, Anderson Room, Chastain Campus, Indian River State College, 5851 SE Community Drive, Stuart

HOW:              Free and open to the public.
