FL Arts & Dance to Perform Nutcracker at Two Martin Libraries





WHO:                                    The Friends of the Blake Library in Stuart, Inc., sponsor, in support of Martin County libraries


WHAT:                                 “The Nutcracker”                                                                             

Performed by the Florida Arts & Dance Company


Florida Arts and Dance Company will present “The Nutcracker” at two Martin County libraries: the Elisabeth Lahti Library in Indiantown 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 and the Blake Library in Stuart 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19.  The programs are free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required.  Recommended for all ages.


Generations of audiences have enjoyed this perennial Christmas favorite, a charming tale of holiday adventure that follows a little girl’s journey through a fantasy world of fairies, princes, toy soldiers, and an army of mice. See selections from this fantastic tale as reinterpreted by Artistic Director Loretta Miller. Florida Arts & Dance Company dancers recreate E.T.A. Hoffman’s and Tchaikovsky’s most beloved tale.
