Fossil Discovery Hour

Fred Mazza of Paleo Discoveries in Vero Beach will present The Fossil Discovery Hour 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11 at the Cummings Library, 2551 SW Matheson Avenue, Palm City. 

The program includes a brief introduction to Florida geology and local fossils found in our state, a hands-on fossil exhibit and an opportunity for the children to find fossils on their own. This fun and educational exploration of our planet’s pre-history is presented at no charge and is open to elementary age children. 

Pre-registration is required.  Group size limited to 50. 

WHEN:           Saturday, July 11, 11:00 a.m.

 WHERE:        Cummings Library, 2551 SW Matheson Avenue, Palm City. 

HOW:              Presented at no charge.  Pre-registration required. Sign up at the library or call 772-288-8351.
