EXPERIENCE BELLY DANCE AND LIVE DRUMMING

WHO:  The Friends of the Robert Morgade Library, Inc. and the Friends of the Elisabeth Lahti Library of Indiantown, Florida, Inc., sponsors; advertising provided by Library Foundation of Martin County, Inc.

WHAT: Martin County Library System Teen Summer Reading Program:
 Be Creative @ Your Library
   
 Belly Dance Performance with Live Drumming
 Presented by Brother Judah and Sankofa, World Drums/Music and Performing Arts Ensemble

 All ages are invited to attend a belly dance extravaganza workshop with live drumming, presented by Brother Judah and performing arts group Sankofa, 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25 at the Robert Morgade Library in Stuart and 3:00 p.m.  Saturday, August 1 at the Elisabeth Lahti Library in Indiantown.  Admission is free.

 Sankofa, led by founder/director Brother Judah, features Grammy nominee Michael Moses, Yvonne Pereira-Dudley and Becky-Jo’ Ah May.  Members will perform belly dance and drumming, followed by a participatory belly dance workshop.  Come by and learn some belly dancing moves!

WHEN AND WHERE: 
 1) Thursday, June 25, 6:00 p.m., Robert Morgade Library, Chastain Campus, I.R.S.C., 5851 SE Community Drive, Stuart;

 2) Saturday, August 1, 3:00 p.m., Elisabeth Lahti Library, 15200 SW Adams Ave., Indiantown.

HOW:  Free.  Open to all ages.
